Setup

Live in three steps

No custom theme code for the core widget. You install the app, enable the embed, and customize the look in Admin.

Install on your shop

Log in with your shop domain. Shopify handles OAuth. Wishlist Plus stores a shop-scoped session — not shopper accounts.

Open the theme editor and activate the Wishlist Plus embed so heart icons and buttons appear on your storefront.

Do shoppers need a Wishlist Plus account?

No. Wishlists are saved in the shopper’s browser by default. Shoppers never log in to Wishlist Plus. Merchants open the app through Shopify Admin only.

Do I need to edit theme code?

No custom theme code is required for the core experience. Install the app, enable the Theme App Extension embed, and customize settings in Admin.

What Shopify permissions does the app use?

Wishlist Plus uses Admin GraphQL with least-privilege scopes: read products, themes, and inventory. It does not use the REST Admin API.

Where is wishlist data stored?

Shopper wishlists stay in browser localStorage by default. The app stores shop sessions, wishlist display settings, and anonymized activity events (product IDs and counts — not customer names or emails) for merchant dashboards.

How do I get support?

Use Contact inside the embedded app, or email us from the Privacy / Terms contact section. We also publish Privacy and Terms on this site for App Store listing links.
